Quesro Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the quesro.com website and the Quesro application. By visiting the site or registering as a member of Quesro, users accept and become bound by this agreement. If you do not accept the terms of this agreement, you may not use the quesro.com website or the services offered.
These Terms of Use constitute an ongoing agreement between you and Quesro. You should read all conditions carefully. The Terms apply to all users of the Service, including both teachers and students. "Content" means any question, answer key, solution, exam/assignment, exam output, student answer/image, text, software, graphic, photograph and interactive material.
Quesro is an educational technology platform that enables teachers to generate contextual questions aligned with curriculum outcomes using artificial intelligence in accordance with the MEB Maarif Model, convert these questions into an exam or assignment, obtain customized output (in an editable Word format with logo, title, instructions, signature section and answer key with different groups), manage their classes and digitally assign homework/exams to their students, and have student answers (both multiple-choice and open-ended) evaluated by artificial intelligence.
Service Provider Information
The Quesro service is operated by the service provider whose information is set out below:
1- Changes to the Terms of Use:
quesro.com reserves the right to change this agreement at any time without notifying the user. The most current version of this agreement can always be accessed from the quesro.com website's homepage at https://quesro.com/kullanim_sartlari.php. The most current version of the agreement supersedes all prior agreements. Using the quesro.com website means that you accept these changes.
2- Scope of the Service:
Quesro provides teacher users with the following services: (a) generation of single or bulk questions (automatic, scenario-based, or based on a reference exam) using artificial intelligence; (b) management of a question bank consisting of AI-generated or manually added questions; (c) creation and saving of exams/assignments using questions filtered from the question bank; (d) exporting the exam output in an editable document format with the school's logo, title, instructions, signature section, and multiple question groups/answer keys; (e) adding students via a class code and digitally assigning the prepared exam/assignment to students; (f) AI-based, reasoned scoring of multiple-choice and open-ended/classic questions and presentation of achievement reports. Student users may solve assignments/exams assigned to them, receive AI assistance for questions they ask themselves, and upload questions/answers via photo or PDF.
3- Membership Plans and Payment:
Quesro offers paid/free membership plans for teachers with different usage limits (such as non-shared question generation, tokens, output and import features), as well as separate membership plans for students; current plan names, prices and content are shown in the pricing section on quesro.com and within the application, and may be updated without prior notice. In addition, one-time token packages defined as add-ons to the existing plan may be purchased. Payment for paid plans is made by credit/debit card through the secure payment infrastructure of shopier.com (for Turkish Lira payments) or of Paddle.com (for payments in other currencies, as our reseller of record for international customers); the package is credited to the account immediately after the payment is confirmed. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the card and billing information entered at checkout. For the detailed terms governing purchases, see the Distance Sales Agreement.
3.1- Right of Withdrawal and Refunds:
Because Quesro's services are digital services that are activated immediately or shortly after purchase, the right of withdrawal generally cannot be exercised under Article 15 of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts with respect to services performed immediately in electronic form and intangible goods whose performance begins with the consumer's consent. In line with this, Quesro does not issue refunds for completed purchases; the amount paid is not refunded, regardless of usage. If you believe there has been a payment or billing error (e.g. a duplicate charge), you may contact us in writing at quesro.com@gmail.com. 4- User Content (Content Created/Uploaded by Teachers):
On the Quesro platform, "User Content" means any educational material (questions, answer keys, solutions, exam/assignment designs, etc.) generated with the help of artificial intelligence, manually added, or uploaded by teachers.
4.1. Responsibility for Content and Copyright:
Teachers who create/upload content are solely and fully responsible for ensuring that such content complies with applicable law, ethical rules, and the intellectual property rights of third parties. Content uploaded to or generated on the platform must not, under any circumstances, contain inappropriate, obscene, harassing, hateful, or unlawful elements. Quesro reserves the right to remove such content without notice and to terminate the membership of the relevant teacher if it detects such content. Quesro is obligated to share the information of the owner of unlawful content in response to requests from judicial and administrative authorities.
4.2. Shared Question Bank and Points System:
Teachers may optionally make the questions they generate "shared," in which case the question is added to a common question bank usable by other teachers, and the teacher who shared the content earns points. Using another teacher's shared question requires spending points. This point mechanism is part of the paid membership plans and may vary according to plan terms. Copyright in a question made shared remains with the teacher who created it; the teacher is deemed to have granted Quesro a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use this content for the purpose of presenting it to other users within the platform.
4.3. Student Answers and Assessment Content:
Answers written by students as part of an assignment/exam, uploaded photo/PDF answer sheets, and papers scanned/photographed by the teacher for exams administered in class, are subject to access by the teacher who prepared the relevant exam/assignment and to the AI-based assessment process. This content is processed solely for the purposes of assessment, reporting and provision of the service.
5- Restrictions and Prohibited Activities:
Users are personally responsible for all activities they carry out while using Quesro's services and website. The following acts and activities are strictly prohibited, and a violation of these restrictions may result in the immediate termination of the user's access to the site:
Engaging in any fraudulent, corrupt or unlawful activity.
Attempting to gain unauthorized access to, requesting, or sharing another Quesro user's password, account or personal information.
Breaching the security of computer networks, cracking security encryption codes, or transmitting or uploading unlawful/inappropriate material (threatening content, viruses, etc.).
Using spam or bulk communication methods, or running automated/unauthorized programs; exploiting the AI question-generation or assessment features with automated tools beyond reasonable use limits in a way that disrupts the operation of the service.
Using Quesro's services or content for any commercial purpose other than those specified in this Agreement; commercializing content from the shared question bank outside the platform.
6- Copyright Policy:
You may not upload, use, distribute or copy copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information on the Quesro platform without the prior written permission of the rights holder. Anyone who believes there has been a copyright infringement on the platform should contact Quesro via quesro.com@gmail.com. The copyright and legal responsibilities of teachers who provide content in relation to the content they create are set out under Article 4 of this Agreement. Pursuant to Law No. 5651, content providers are responsible for the content they create and use on the platform.
Under Quesro's copyright policy, users found to have infringed copyright, particularly repeat infringers, will lose access to the Service.
7- Registration and Security:
As a condition of using the Services, the User must register with quesro.com and choose a password together with a username/email. The User must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date registration information. Otherwise, this Agreement will be deemed violated and the Account may be terminated without notice to the User.
Things a user may absolutely not do:
(1) Select or use another person's name as a username with the intent to impersonate that person.
(2) Use, without the necessary permission, a name legally belonging to any person other than the user as a username. Otherwise, quesro.com has the discretion to refuse registration or cancel the username. The user is obligated to keep their password confidential. quesro.com does not accept liability arising from unauthorized use of this information.
8- Student Users and Class Access:
Students register on the system using a class code shared by their teacher and gain access to the relevant class. A teacher may remove a student from a class; in this case, the student's access to content specific to that class ends. The creation and use of accounts by student users under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent/school in accordance with applicable legislation; teachers and institutions are expected to obtain the necessary permissions in this regard.
9- Indemnification:
The User shall indemnify quesro.com, its employees and officers against damages, costs, attorney's fees or compensation arising from access to the Site, use of the Services, breach of the User Agreement, or infringement of the intellectual property rights of the user or a third party using the account.
10- Limitation of Liability:
quesro.com shall in no event be liable for (1) excessive user payments, (2) any errors or deficiencies that may occur in questions/solutions/assessments generated by artificial intelligence, or (3) incidental or indirect damages arising from the Site or its services. Content generated by artificial intelligence and the assessments made are subject to the teacher's final review and approval; the teacher is responsible for the content and grades they add to an exam/assignment or reflect to a student. quesro.com will make its best efforts to ensure that the services it provides operate smoothly and without error. However, technical failures, system maintenance, and force majeure events that may occur in the systems of internet access providers, AI service providers, or other third parties may also affect quesro.com's services. In such cases, quesro.com will take the necessary measures to keep the services actively available, but will not accept liability for any error or malfunction of a connected service that it does not directly control.
11- Dispute Resolution:
quesro.com and the user will first attempt to resolve any legal dispute in good faith. In disputes where the User has the status of a consumer under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, the Consumer Arbitration Committees at the domicile of the user or of quesro.com are competent up to the monetary limits determined annually by the Ministry of Trade, and Consumer Courts are competent for disputes exceeding this limit. For disputes with users who do not have consumer status (i.e., who obtain the service for commercial purposes), the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Istanbul (Central) shall have jurisdiction. Once the User registers, enters the site, and begins using the content and services, all usage and disclosure rules are deemed accepted by both parties. The user or visitor may not claim that they were not informed or did not read the agreement. If the Terms of Use are not accepted, it is sufficient for the user not to use the site and services.
12- Termination:
Either party may terminate the Services at any time by notifying the other party. If the User violates any of the terms or conditions specified in this agreement, quesro.com may immediately suspend or terminate access to some or all of the Services or the Site without prior notice. Upon termination of the User's account, the User's right to use the Services, access the Site, and access any content immediately ends.
13- Other Provisions:
quesro.com may amend, remove, or publish a new version of the user agreement at any time, subject to changing laws and conditions.
The failure of either party to enforce any of the provisions set out above does not mean that it has waived any other right. quesro.com is not responsible for its failure to fulfill its obligations under this agreement due to reasons beyond its control, such as mechanical, electronic or communication failures or malfunctions. If any provision of this agreement is deemed unenforceable or invalid, such invalidity shall be limited to that provision only and the remainder of the agreement shall remain in full force. This Agreement may not be transferred, assigned, or licensed by the User without the written permission of quesro.com. quesro.com may cooperate with various third-party organizations, including AI service providers, in order to improve the services it offers.
Turkish law shall apply to the relationship with quesro.com under these Terms of Use. The parties have exclusively authorized the Turkish courts to resolve any legal matter arising from the Terms. However, you acknowledge that quesro.com may apply for injunctive relief (or other equivalent emergency remedies) in any jurisdiction.
